Larry Reginald "Reggie" Myrick was born in Colorado City, Mitchell County, Texas to Irvin Lester Myrick and Ida Aletha Walker.

He graduated from high school in Stanton, and proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 24th Infantry Division, 2nd Brigade and was stationed in Germany.

Reggie married Mary Formwalt on March 1, 1968 in Deming, New Mexico.

He was a lifelong farmer and retired as a pumper from R. K. Petroleum in 2002.

Reggie loved hunting and fishing above all else and was very proud to be a Texan and an American.
