Henrietta L Abrew, 85, of New Rochelle, New York, died January 9 in a convalescent home. Mrs Abrew was born in Kansas City, Kansas. She lived in Stockton for more than sixty years before moving to New Rochelle four years ago. Mrs Abrew was a book-keeper. She last worked for the San Joaquin County Tax Collectors office. Mrs Abrew was a member of the Valley Oak Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivor: son, Byron Abreu [original spelling] of New York City.

[No mention of family: two brothers, Norman Davis of Higginsville, Missouri, and James Sterling of Los Osos, California, many nieces and nephews and their descendants in the Kansas City area. Preceded in death by husband of thirty-five years, Joe in 1964; sisters, Berniece Cheyney, Betty Brewer, and brother, Richard "Dick" Davis.]
