Henry, IL - Harold A. Shearer, 91, of Henry died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at 6:45 a.m. at Heartland Health Care Center in Henry.

Harold was born Aug. 17, 1917, in Saratoga Township, Rural Henry, Ill., to Andrew Willis and Berenice (Harrington) Shearer. He married Lucille Christine Maupin on Nov. 20, 1940, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Henry. She survives in Henry.

Also surviving are two daughters, Linda (Richard) Link and Rebecca (Lawrence) Botoletto, and one son, William (Betty) Shearer, all of Henry; two sisters, Mary Rebholz and Anita Real, both of Henry; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

His four brothers, Dickie, Joseph, Robert and Leland Shearer, preceded Harold in death.

Harold was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Henry.

He was a board member of the Henry Housing Association and Director of the Putnam Grain Elevator.

He was a farmer, cattle dealer and a real estate dealer.

Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Henry.
