A.V. Baker, 73, of the Millersburg Community died at the Callaway Hospital Wednesday morning at10:30. He was admitted to the hospital on April 26. Funeral Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Millersburg Christian Church. Interment will be in the Millersburg Cemetery. Born near Millersburg on Feb 24, 1881, Mr Baker was the son of the late John Thomas and Mary Cassandra Miller Baker. He married the former Nona Beeding Turley on December 19, 1901. She survives. Mr Baker, a retired farmer,was a life long member of the Millersburg Christian Church. Survivors, including his wife are: one son, R. Nelson Baker of Fulton; one daughter, Mrs G.P. McCubbin of Centralia; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
