Priscilla was the second of five children born to Fritz and Elizabeth Garber Garriock. Her father was a Scottish immigrant, becoming a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1919.
She was named after her maternal grandmother, Priscilla (nee Ray) Walters.
Priscilla was a 1935 graduate of The College of William and Mary. She was very athletic and participated in every sport in which women were allowed to take part. For a time, she was employed as a social worker with King William County. January 3, 1940 in West Point, Va., she married John Norfleet Stephenson. They eventually moved from Virginia to Florida.
Priscilla died from complications from Alzheimer's Disease.
She was predeceased by her husband and her four siblings.
She was survived by a daughter, a son, a grandson and his wife, and two granddaughters.
