Mary Magdelena Keidel called "May" immigrated from Bavaria
to Rochester, NY and married George Klingler on Sept. 12th
1847 in a Catholic ceremony. May had the following children:
John M., Henry, Mary, Joseph, and Phillip Klingler.
May died in 1869 @ the age of 52 years old. She is
thought to be the sister of John Keidel of Bavaria and
Rochester. May's husband and children, except for John,
were tailors with a shop on N. Clinton in the early
years. Her step-son August was also a tailor.
