Former Town Official Dies
Henry C. Reybolds Passes Away at Age of 72 After Long Illness
Henry C. Reynollds, one of the most prominent and highly esteemed residents of this village died last night shortly before midnight at his home, 83 Hudson street. Mr. Reynolds had been in failing health during the past six years as a result of paralysis.
He was 72 years old. He was born in Argyle. on February 7, 1850. During his long residence in his village Mr. Reynolds was actively interested in municipal and town affairs. For a time he served as a justice of the peace, and as a member of the town board of Moreau he performed valuable service for the town.
He also held the office of street, water and sewer superintendent in the village. Mr. Reynolds was a member of Electric Lodtge, I. O. O. F. of this village and of Glens Falls Lodge No. 121 F. and A.M.
He is survived by his wife and two children, W. Harry Reynolds and a daughter, Mrs. Harry Bush, of Wilton; one sister, Miss Jeannette Reynolds, of this village; three brothers, Charles H. Reynolds, George H. Reynolds, and Albert L. Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon from the family home. The Rev. George Poole, pastor of the Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in South Side cemetery. (The Glens Falls Times and Messenger, Friday evening, April 28, 1922, pg 12)
