Alvin C. Maxey, 80, died Sunday, March 22, 2009, at Hospice In His Hands in Madden, MS.
Visitation is 10 a.m. today at Breeland Funeral Home with 11 a.m. graveside services in the Canton Cemetery.
Mr. Maxey was a retired employee for Flav-O-Rich Dairy in Canton.
Survivors include: daughter, Doris M. Flint and husband, Ernie of Carthage; sister, Mebalene Hunt of Florence; grandchildren, Leslie Gates and husband, John Paul, Greg Flint and wife, Janna, Hilary Flint, Megan Flint and Austin Flint; and great-granddaughter, Caroline Flint.
