Nita Fern Anderson, age 93, died on March 19, 2009 in Salt Lake City, Utah.


She was born June 12, 1915 in Moody Creek, Idaho to Raphael Royal Garn and Elsie Irene Eames.


She married Cleo Roi Taro Anderson on January 15, 1936. Nita served as a Primary Teacher, and Relief Society President in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also served a building mission with her husband and daughter in Australia.


She is survived by: daughter, Patti A. Driggs; grandchildren, Nannette (Tim) Erb, Nichole (Shayne) Bell, and Sean Driggs; and great-grandchild ren, Roshelle Erb, Alex Erb, Jayce Bell and Miranda Bell. She was preceded in death by: husband, Cleo Roi Taro Anderson; four brothers, Bode, Harvey, Burke, and Donald; and two sisters, Pontell and Irene.


Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville. A viewing will be held 2 hours prior to the services.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
