Floyd Hershell BrockFuneral services for Floyd Hershall Brock, 81 of Cullman, will be Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Center Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Kilgore officiating, burial to follow in adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Mr. Brock died Monday, March 23, 2009 at Woodland Village Healthcare. He was born April 27, 1927 in Cullman County to James Walter and Lela Mae Miller Brock. He was a retired carpenter/machinist from Americold.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ozell Brock and a brother, James Walter, Jr.Survivors include four daughters, Janice (Steven) Foshee, Becky (Steve) Barbee, Ruth (Jimmie) Johnson and Sandra (Jackie) Chambers; two brothers, Herbert (Helen) Brock and Raymond Brock; two sisters Margaret (Harold) Watson and Shelby Jean (Bobby) Burrow; a sister-in-law, Wynell (D.L.) McHann; nine grandchildren, Alan and Lisa Johnson, Kim and Gary Caudle, Michael and Kelley Johnson, Paul and Angie Barbee, Jason and Chris Chambers, Scotty Foshee, Nathan and Shanda Chambers, Brandi and Neal Minor, Lacey and Corey Sizemore; 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Pallbearers will be grandsons Alan, Michael, Paul, Jason, Nathan, Scotty, Neal, Gary and Corey. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters Kim, Brandi, Lacey, Chris, Shanda, Angie, April, Kelley and Lisa.Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
