John Audia
John (Pork Chops) Audia, 71, of Reynoldsville, died in a local hospital at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, following a brief illness.
He was born in St. John's, Italy, October 30, 1897, son of Samuel and Rose Oliverio Audia.
Surviving are his widow, Rosie Urso Audia, three sons Samuel J. Audia of Sardis, Tony A. Audia of Reynoldsville and Michael J. Audia of 231 Church St.; three daughters Mrs. Russell J. (Rose) Carlomany of 110 Grant St., Mrs. Roger N. (Mary Virginia) Romain of Stone-wood and Mrs. John (Angeline) Oliverio of Oak Street; one brother Tony Audia of Phoenix, Ariz; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Rose) Meacomes of Phoenix and Mrs. John (Constance) Gallo of Reynoldsville; 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Minnie Mirurchi.
Mr. Audia was a retired electrician in the mining industry and a member of UMW of A and St. John's Catholic Church.
