Thurman Andrew Crow, 79, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009.

He was the beloved husband of 58 years to Faye Hodges Crow; loving father to Thurman Wayne Crow and his wife Sandra, Michael Andrew Crow and his wife Tomi and Royce Edward Crow and his wife Denise; grandfather of Kari C. Jordan and her husband Ross, Brian Wayne, Brandon Royce, Jessica Lynne, Andrew Mitchell and Benjamin Travis Crow, Blaine Callender, and Scott and Bryan Neal Fuller; great-grandfather of Evan Jordan; and brother to Wilma Lovett, Reba Jenkins and Raymond Crow.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Effie Alice Chance Crow; his father, James Henry Crow; five brothers and three sisters.

He was a native of Blackwell, Ark., and a resident of Sun for the past 36 years. He was co-owner, with his brother, of Crow Redi-Mix formerly in Abita Springs. He was a member and deacon of New Beginning Baptist Church in Bush and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services were on Sunday at New Beginning Baptist Church in Bush. Interment followed in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Sun.
