She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Paul Gement Sr. and Emile Alt Sr., one son Chester Gement and four siblings, Claire Senac Lenard, Jules Senac, Charles Senac, and Merle Senac Marshall.
Eva is survived by a loving family of one younger sister, Carmel Senac Cull of Covington and her children, Paul Gement Jr. and wife Margie of Mandeville; J'Nelle Gement Holland and husband Stephen of Santa Barbara Calif.; Janet Claire Alt Damare' and husband Jules of Abita Springs; Merle Alt Cabibi and husband Charles of Metairie, Emile Alt Jr. and wife Linda of Huntsville, Ala.; Donald Alt and wife Judy of Covington, and as 22 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.

Eva was known for her sweet personality, good humor, generosity and caring for others.
She enjoyed playing bridge and bingo and was known for her uncanny good fortune in these pastimes.
A gathering of family and friends for a time of remembrance will be held on Monday March 23, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in the chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana HLA (Marrow Donor) Registry, P.O.Box 224, Mandeville, LA 70470. Eva will be lovingly laid to rest in the Bon Sejour Family Cemetery and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
