Jean Maxine 'Mama Jean' Meadows, 94, Hollidaysburg, died Tues. morning at The Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg. Born in Everett, to Oscar & Jesse Foor. She married Delbert V. Meadows, Sept. 29, 1934 and he died Nov. 20, 1988. Survived by sons: Richard L. & wife, Lisa, Duncansville; Jay I. & wife, Nancy, Altoona, and Joel C. & wife, Darla, of Hollidaysburg; 13 grandchildren; 17 gr. grandchildren; one gr. gr. grandchild; and sister, Nancy L. Leydig, Hollidaysburg. Predeceased by sons: James V. Meadows II & Delbert L. 'Mac' Meadows; brothers: Fred H. Foor & Kenneth A. Foor; and sister, Marjorie C. (Foor) Walsh. Member, Grace Bible Church. Mrs. Meadows worked as a secretary for J.V. Meadows & Sons for more than 30 years and later for the Meadows Go-Kart Track. She was a 1932 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and member of the Altoona Women's Club. Good Funeral Home, @ Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. Entombment, Alto-Reste Park Mausoleum.
