Her husband's 4th wife Ellen is also on this side of the memorial.

Mary was the 2nd wife of Jacob Battreall. She was the mother of Isaac who is also buried here.

Mary's age when she died: 33 years, 11 months and 8 days.

Note cemetery reading lists markers at Row 15 and Row 18

This cemetery sits well back in a field between Albany and Granville Indiana along the Mississinewa River by an old covered bridge. There is another cemetery close by that sits along the road, but this one is a hike to get to.

The entire cemetery has fallen into poor condition. Someone, possibly the farmer who owns the land or the Del Co Gen Soc, has attempted to maintain the grounds somewhat. Vegetation is still a problem with fallen trees and overgrowth throughout. Most of the stones have been damaged somewhat and some are nearly destroyed and some yet are missing. It also shows many signs of vandalism.

I believe this cemetery is in imminent danger of being lost forever and these memorials on Find A Grave may be the last memorial to those who were laid to rest here.

I have seen no signs that any descendents visit the cemetery.
