CALDWELL - Funeral services for W. Hiley Ankrom, 91, who died Friday at his home in Beaver township, will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Mt. Zion church. Burial will be in Friends cemetery with the Eberle funeral home in charge. The body has been removed to the residence. He and his wife the former Emretta Wareheim, were married in Virginia, 71 years ago. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary a year ago last December, and they are perhaps the only couple in Noble county, who lived to be present at the golden wedding anniversary celebration of a son or daughter. They were both able to attend the golden wedding of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose G. Danford of Quaker City last August.
Mr. and Mrs. Ankrom were married when the bride was 15 years old and have resided in the same home in which they went to housekeeping 70 years ago in Beaver township, east of Caldwell. He was a member of the Mt. Zion A. C. church.
Survivors are three sons and three daughters. They are George, Charley and Pearley Ankrom, and Mrs. Cora Eagon, Mrs. Dessa House, and Mrs. Delia Danford, who all reside in the Noble county on Quaker City Route. There are twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and eighteen great - great greatchildren
