She was born in Boone County on Jan. 15, 1928, and was the daughter of D.D. (Doc) Wolfe and Lora Faye Bishop Wolfe.
Barbara was raised in Boone and Clinton counties and graduated with the Class of 1946 from Jackson Township High School in Antioch of Clinton County.
She was married in Antioch on Nov. 19, 1955, to Harry W. Barnett. Mr. Barnett survives.
Surviving are her husband, Harry, who resides in Lebanon. Their only child, a son, Terry, also resides in Lebanon with his wife Susan. Two grandchildren, a granddaughter, Meredith, resides in Rushville and grandson, Chase, is a sophomore at Purdue University. Barbara has one brother, Charles Wolfe, who resides in Lebanon.
