CORPUS CHRISTI, Tex., Aug. 12 —The funeral of Miss Daisy Belle Tomison 13, was held at Mathis Sunday afternoon and hundreds attended. She was drowned Saturday night at the incomplete Mathis dam while swimming.
Miss Ollie Tomison 22, rescued from the water by Miss Newell Kinney of Mathis and revived by artificial respiration and a lung motor from the Maxwell Dunne establishment here, was recovering today, in a sanitarium here. The girls were wading and suddenly stepped into 20-foot water.
