On the 1880 Pastures, Augusta Co., VA census, I found farmer Robert Dunlap, 37; wife NANNIE, 29; sister in law Netie Driden, 12, all VA born.
Mrs. Nannie Dunlap died at her home near Lone Fountain on the 27th (sic) ult. She was the wife of Mr. Robert Dunlap, daughter of the late Harvey Dryden, and niece of the late Geo. A. Hogshead of "Ocean Springs," Mississippi. She went some weeks ago to the Richmond Hospital for treatment, but derived no benefit therefrom. She united with the Presbyterian church many years ago. and died in the triumphs of faith, and was borne up to "that city which hath foundations whose builder and maker is God." where the waters are still, and the storms never beat. Interment at Churchville. Staunton Spectator, 10 Apr 1895, Library of Congress. (Her marker says she died on the 26th, instead of 27th.)
