William Koeser, 72, of the Town of Meeme (Manitowoc County) died Saturday night at Manitowoc Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 15, 1896 in the Town of Schleswig, he was a son of the late Carl and Maria Maurer Koeser. He attended district school in the Town of Meeme. He was a mason by trade and also operated a farm.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Karstaed and Mrs. Mary Hinckmann, both of School Hill, and nieces and nephews. Two sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel, with the Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in the Town of Schleswig.
