Died - About one-half mile from Creswell, Saturday morning at 1 o'clock - Mr. S. O. MARTIN, aged 73 years. The old gentleman had been in poor health for two or three years, and had been troubled mostly with liver and stomach troubles. The funeral will occur Saturday. Mr. Martin was one of the noble and honored pioneers of the county, who braved so much to make their homes here and made this valley what it is. He leaves a large family and numerous relatives and friends to mourn his departure.
