Mr. Zorn was born September 5, 1879 in Louis Corners, the son of C.R. and Johanna Zorn. On November 25, 1909 he was married to Miss Alma Ibe of Schleswig township at the Lutheran church at Louis Corners by the Rev. George Denninger. The first seven years of their marriage they resided on a farm in Louis Corners, and in 1916 the Zorn family moved to this city.
After locating here, Mr. Zorn followed the mason trade. He was also street commissioner and city assessor for several years. For many years he operated a bowling alley in the basement at the city hall.
Survivors are his wife; two children, a son, Clarence, and a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Florence) Schmidt, both of this city; and two grandchildren. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Ida Voigt of Collins, Mrs. George Mattesof Rockville, and Mrs. Anna Ruppenthal of Hilbert, and one brother, John.
