William "Bill" Fred Gosnell, 87, of 410 E. Belvue Road, died Saturday Aug. 8, 1998.
Born in Greenville, son of the late W.O. and Annie Mae Mason Gosnell, he owned and operated Gosnell's Garage before retirement. He was a Baptist.
He was predeceased by his wife, Earline Curry Gosnell.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Marcia G. and Benjie Purcell: sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Patsy Gosnell, Dean and Carolyn Gosnell, all of Greenville; sisters, Aileen G. Cannon of Piedmont, Nadine G. Ladd of Uncasville, Conn.; grandchildren, Dale, Bryan and Joey Gosnell, Kevin Gosnell and Allison and Lindsey Purcell; great-grandchildren, Brendle and Jodi Ann Gosnell.
Visitation: 5 to 6:30 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home,Downtown.
Graveside services: 2 p.m. Monday in Graceland West Cemetery.
Omit flowers. Memorials: Alzeheimer's Association of the Upstate, 301 University Ridge,Suite 5300, Greenville, S.C., 29601.
