Lola Kelley, 68, a resident of Cashmere for the past eight years died Wednesday morning at a local nursing home.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1907, in Springfield, Mo., was raised and attended school there. She married Claude M. Kelley on Sept. 26, 1928, at Ozark, Mo. They moved to California and then to Orovllle in 1949. They came to Cashmere in 1967.
Mrs. Kelley had worked for Blue Star Growers, Cashmere, and was a member of the Cashmere Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, in Cashmere, two brothers, John and Harry Page, both of Colorado; and two sisters, Beulah and Amy, both in Missouri.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the Braun Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Merlin officiating.
Tom Richburg sang "Beautiful Garden of Prayer" accompanied by Earl Barnes on the organ. Burial took place in the Cashmere Cemetery. The Braun Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
