Daniel Dorsey was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Ridgely) Dorsey. He was the husband of Eleanor (Dorsey) Dorsey. They were married February 17, 1779. Eleanor died May 22, 1834. Capt. Dorsey served during the Revolutionary War.
