Emily V. Martin, 63, of Sweetwater died at 10:10 a.m. Saturday at Sunrise Manor Health Care Center, Virden.
She was born July 9, 1928, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Frank and Rachel Myers Harlan.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Coby Cody, in 1965.
She then married Pete Martin in 1967; he died in 1989.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Arthur Harlan, and a sister, Joella Stode.
Mrs. Martin was a member of Sweetwater Christian Church and Royal Neighbors.
Surviving are two sons, Jim Harlan of Pawnee and Charles F. Cody of Virden; a stepson, Jim Martin of Fair Oaks, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Shirley Henderson of Concord, Calif., and Rita Clark of Oregon; 11 grandchildren; an aunt; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Mott and Henning Funeral Home, Athens, with the Rev. Brad Neal officiating.
