"Aunt" Lutie and "Uncle" Joe lived across the street from me when I was growing up in Davis, Oklahoma. Although they never any of their own, they loved all the neighborhood children. They always kept a spare bottle of ketchup on hand for my little brother who ate it on everything in case he ran out. Aunt Lutie also let us cut her peonies to take to school to our teachers. They were wonderful people, and it still seems like they should be sitting out on their front porch.
