The death of Samuel B. Phillips, age 84 years, occurred at 5:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the residence of his son, Vern Phillips, of Terre Haute, He is survived by two other sons, Frank of Terre Haute, and Park of Clinton; two daughter, Ethel of El Paso, Tex., and Nettie Julian of Columbus, Ohio; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Harry Anderson of Mecca, at 1:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon and burial was in the Arabia cemetery near Mecca.
