MRS. AMANDA JANE PORTER

Mrs. Amanda Jane Porter, 74, died suddenly Sunday night at her home in Rogersville.

A member of Rogersville Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Taylor of Golden City, Ray of Turlock, Calif., and Floyd of the state of Washington; four daughters, Mrs. Lula Green and Mrs. Viola Adams of Ozark, Mrs. Mary Horton of Rogersville, and Mrs. Juanita Adams of the state of Washington; 20 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charley Abney of Ozark, and James Abney of Modesto, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Montgomery of the state of Washington.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Roy Shipman at 2 p.m. today in Pedlow Baptist Church. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, with Chaffin of Ozark.
