Born May 11, 1921, in Sheridan, WY

Parents – James & Erma (Minster) Enochs
She grew up on the family ranch south of Arvada. She graduated from Sheridan High School and later went on to Business College in Denver. Murel married Wayne Packard on May 29, 1939, at the family ranch. They ranched there until moving to Idaho Falls, ID in 1948 and then to Cody, WY. They returned to the ranch south of Arvada in 1967 and ranched there the rest of their lives. Murel gave piano lessons to the neighbor children for many years. She loved music and played various instruments including piano and violin. She enjoyed animals, poetry, storytelling, and having company over for dinner.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.

SON – Gary Packard, Arvada, WY

DAUGHTER – Wanda Hape, Sheridan, WY

Viewing will be 9:00am until 5:00pm on Monday (July 28th) with funeral service at 10:00am on Tuesday from Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
