CAMAS – Irving C. "Mac" McClure died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, in a Camas nursing home. He was 82.
Mr. McClure enjoyed mechanics, working on cars, the outdoors, hunting and camping. He was born June 19, 1921, in Dallas. After being discharged from the U.S. Army in 1945, he moved to Vancouver and went to work for Alcoa, where he was a pot tender in the potrooms for more than 40 years before retiring.
Survivors include his wife, Pat of Camas; three sons, Con of Camas, Matt of Vancouver and Irv of Yacolt; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass starts at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Aguinas Church in Camas. Burial will follow at Fern Prairie Cemetery.
Brown's Funeral Home in Camas is handling arrangements.
