Mr. Manning served in the U.S Navy in World War II and also in the Korean War.
He is survived by his 6 children: Mark, Maria, Cordelia, Patrick, Julia, Daniel. Two sisters, eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Manning was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cordelia McAllister Manning. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at All Souls Chapel with burial to follow at all Souls Cemetery.
Mr. Manning spent the last year and a half of life in Ventura, California.
