NIMITZ - Ola R. Mansfield, 70, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, July 31, 2007, at the Harmon House Care Home following a long illness.

Born Sept. 27, 1936, in Summers County, she was the daughter of the late Darrell D. and Nellie B. Lilly Cooper.

She was a lifelong resident of Summers County, was a homemaker, a dog lover, enjoyed photography and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny R. Mansfield; a brother, John Darrell Cooper; and her twin sister, Nola M. Matherly.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Moye of Nimitz; a brother, Mike Cooper and wife, Barbara, of Nimitz; several nieces and nephews; and Chillipepper, her and her late husband's faithful companion who is now in the care of family.

Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, Hinton, with Pastors William R. Ballengee and Ernie Junior Moye officiating. Burial will follow in Lilly-Crews Cemetery, Nimitz.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral parlors.

Her nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
