Sarah J Socks died Monday at her home at 124 E Lee Street from complications, Aged 25 years one months and 18 days. She had been ailing for several months but had been confined to her bed only two weeks. Mrs Socks was a native of Berkeley County and was a Miss Butts daughter of Lasha and Lucinda (Gordon) Butts. She is survived by children, Clarencen R. and Leona, Brothers, Charlie, George, Harry and James; Sisters Mrs. Rachael Canby, Mrs James Hess Lillie, Mable and Mina of West Virginia. Funeral Wednesday at 1:30 services at the house; interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
