Mr. Scott died Sunday, March 29, 2009, in Nacogdoches. Born August 5, 1957, in Port Arthur, he was the son of Jimmie Sue Collier and Wallace E. Scott. He was employed with Center ISD as a behavior management specialist. He was affiliated with Grace Bible Church in Nacogdoches, but had served as pastor of Simpson Campground and Melrose Methodist Churches and First Christian Churches of Nacogdoches and Center. Survivors include his father, Wallace E. Scott of Port Neches; wife, Peggy Dow Scott of Nacogdoches; daughter, Jennifer N. Scott of Nacogdoches; son, Nathaniel E. Scott of Nacogdoches; brothers, John E. Scott of Nederland and Lee K. Scott of Frisco. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2009, at Laird Funeral Home. At 6:30 p.m. the Tejas Lodge of the Order of the Arrow, Boy Scouts of America, will conduct the ceremony of the Broken Arrow. Rosary will follow at 7 p.m.
