Lola M. Howe, an 80-year-old Trenton resident, died at 5:25 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton where she has resided since August of 2006.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Bro. Danny Moore will officiate. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, at the mortuary. Open visitation will begin at noon on Friday.
Mrs. Howe was born on March 22, 1927 in Grundy County, the daughter of Cloyd and Sylvia Hudson Little. She lived in or near Grundy County her whole life, attending school at Gilman City and Spickard. She was married on June 1, 1949 to Emerson Howe, who preceded her in death Nov. 16, 1993. She was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Ranes and her husband, Curtis, of Trenton; a sister, Sarah Gott and her husband, Wendall, of Trenton; one granddaughter, Caina Chapman and her daughter, Shayla, of Trenton; a grandson, Matthew Gibson, his wife, Jill, and their children, Jackson and Ava, of Chillicothe; a grandson, Lucas Gibson, his wife, Jenna, and their son, Jacob, of Trenton; and granddaughter Jennifer Brake and her children, Jamie and Jakensey, of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Cindi Koenig; a son, Randall Howe; five brothers, Raymond, John, Marvin, Wilford, and Larry Little; and an infant sister, Irene.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Tenth Street Baptist Church. They may be left at the funeral home.
