NORMAN - Funeral for Blake Edward Fleming, 27, Norman, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McNeil Funeral Home in Mustang.

Mr. Fleming died Monday, March 30, 2009, in Norman.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Highland Cemetery, Lawton, under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

He was born Sept. 19, 1981, in Lawton, to Cindy Fleming. He lived in Oklahoma City and moved to Mustang in 1989. He attended Mustang schools, where he played basketball and baseball. He graduated from Mustang High School in 2000. He later moved to Norman. He worked in the electrical field and plumbing until he became a primary caregiver for his grandmother.

Survivors include his mother, of the home; several cousins including Eddie Joe Fleming Jr., Teresa Myers, Shelly Myers, Greg Ebisch, and Billy Ebisch, all of Lawton; two aunts: Minnie Fleming, Rush Springs; and Mary Howell, Lawton; and many other close relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Joe and Jessie Fleming; and an uncle, Eddie Joe Fleming Sr.

Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
