MONTEREY -- Funeral services for Clarence Douglas Carr, 67, of Cookeville and formerly of the Woodcliff Community of Monterey, will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Woodcliff Cemetery in Monterey.
Family will receive friends today, Friday, Nov. 9, from 6-9 p.m.
Mr. Carr died Thursday, Nov. 8, at his residence.
He was born July 11, 1940, in Fentress County to the late Arthur (Radio) and Dorlie Grant Carr.
Mr. Carr was a logger.
His family includes four sons, Rick Herron and Mark Carr both of Cookeville, Tim Herron of Nashville and Doug Carr of Bryant, Ark.; three daughters, Arlene Collier of Bloomington Springs, Sherry Honeycutt and Brenda Alcorn, both of Cookeville; a sister, Jewel Trance of Crossville; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Carr was preceded in death by a brother, Charles (Junior) Carr.
Rev. Bobby Floyd will officiate the services.
