Miss Waunida Miller Dies at Leroy After Brief Illness
Miss Waunida May Miller, 18, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Miller, in Leroy at 2 a.m. on August 22.
Miss Miller was sick only a few days and turned down an offer to be taken to a Waco hospital because she felt better.
Funeral services were held at the Olive Branch Church near Leroy at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, August 23, with the Rev. Gardner Ellis officiating. Interment was at the Olive Branch Cemetery.
Surviving are her parents, three brothers and one sister.
