Mrs. Willie Viola Peebles, 64, well known matron of the Hillsboro, Rt. 2 community, died at her home at 7 o'clock Saturday night after a long illness, and funeral rites were conducted at the residence at one o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial in Cottingham cemetery was in charge of Brown.

Surviving are the husband, George W. Peebles; five daughters, Mrs. Jeff Tolbert, Ms. Edga Cottingham, Mrs. Jesse Glenn, Mrs. Eddie Box, Miss Earline Peebles; six sons, Robert, William, Harry, Elmer, Luke and Luther.
