Dorothy J. WASHINGTON, 77, of 369 W. 13th St., Peru, died at 12:40 p.m. Saturday at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born June 20, 1911 in Macy to David W. and Doris WILKINSON WELLER. On June 3, 1934, she married George L. WASHINGTON, who died Sept. 26, 1980. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Peru. Surviving are two sons, Don [WASHINGTON], Vernon Hills, Ill, and Guy [WASHINGTON[, Indianapolis; two grandchildren; a brother, Dale WELLER, Peru, and two sisters, Elaine GOTTSCHALK, Rochester, and Grace KIFFMEYER, Cocoa Beach, Fla. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, Peru, with the Rev. William SHEWMAN officiating. Burial will be in the Plainview Cemetery, Macy. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
