Charles Maguire was born in Drumsillagh, Co. Fermanagh, Ireland. His tombstone says 1865, but he was born in 1863. His parents were Bernard Maguire and Catherine Haren. He had one brother named Denis who stayed on the family farm there in Ireland. He came to America around 1886 and lived another 26 years. He owned a saloon for 16 years. At some point he had a partner with the Saloon named Terrance Dolan who I was told cheated my Great Grandmother out of money. I was told that after Charles had died his wife Josephine went to the Saloon, and the safe was empty.
