George F Glossbrenner died suddenly Monday morning at his home on West Main St.
He was 78 years of age and was born in Richland Co, OH and came to this county in 1857.
He married 3 times: 1) Miss Nettie Burnell, who passed away about 40 years ago, 2) In 1882 he married Mrs. Emily Reiz. 3) In 1899, Richland Co, IL, he married Minnie Kaemmerling who survives.
He was a veteran of the Civil War having enlisted as a private in the 16th IL, being transferred later to the 63rd Inf. At the time of his discharge he was Captain of his company.
