Parker City--Dorothy M Davis 67, from Parker City, died Friday at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie after an extended illness.
She spent most of her live in Parker City area. She married Chester A Davis Oct 18, 1941. She retired from Midwest Towel and Linen Co in 1983 after 15 years of service. She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Parker and was a 1941 graduate of Stoney Creek High School.
Survivors in addition to her husband include four daughters, Alice Franks (Paul) of Portland, Sandra Potter (Frank)of Churubusco, Darlene Hart(Richard) of Parker, Pam Cunningham (Mark) of Winchester, two sons Fred and Charles (Jenny) of Winchester. Three brothers Lee Small, Francis Small and Leroy Small all of Parker,one stepson, Richard Davis of Adams WI.15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Dorothy M Davis will be 11:00 AM Monday Aug 8, at Thornburg Funeral Home on IN 32 between Parker and Farmland with the Rev. Mike Konkle officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery near Farmland. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM Sunday, Aug 7, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Americam Cancer Society.
