Paula A. Houseman, 62, of Altoona died Friday at Altoona Regional Health System, Bon Secours Hospital Campus. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Ray and Esther (Fultz) DeArmitt. She married Jack A. Houseman July 3, 1964. She is survived by her husband; sons: John (Leslie) Houseman II of Virginia and Cory Houseman of Altoona; a grandson: John III; and sisters: Linda Walter of Altoona and Penney Milligan of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Todd. Mrs. Houseman was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. She was a graduate of Altoona High School. Mrs. Houseman was the owner of Paula's Day Care. She was an avid Oakland Raiders fan. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Committal at Calvary Cemetery.
