Lillian Burdick, Belmont Street,Waymart, died Thursday, Nov. 16,1989, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Carbondale, after an illness.
Born in Clinton Twp., daughter of the late Frank and Minnie Beckwith Burdick, she was one of the first members of the First Baptist Church of Waymart. She was a 1931 graduate of Waymart High School, served as secretary of the Golden Years Group and was a member of the Baptist Women's Society.
Several nieces and nephews survive.
Two brothers, LeRoy and Walter, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Herbert E. Jenkins Funeral Home, 269 Belmont St., Waymart, with the Rev. Bradley Iverson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Waymart, officiating. Interment will be at the Clinton Center Cemetery.
