Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 21, 1989 at Higby Mortuary. Interment was held in the Aurora Catholic Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Ariel Zemak

Ariel Madolyn Zemak, the daughter of Frank and Lola (Messersmith) Roach, was born at Ansley, Nebraska, on May 18, 1914, and passed away at Omaha, Nebraska, on June 18, 1989, at the age of 75 years and one month.

She grew up near Anzley and attended school at Ravenna and Grand Island.

On March 18, 1933, she was united in marriage to Joseph Zemak at Whittier, California. After their marriage they lived in California and Connecticut, and moved to Marquette in 1947, where they have since resided.

Ariel was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Darrell and Dorrance Roach, and an infant daughter Sharon Kay.

She is survived by her husband Joseph of Marquette; 2 daughters LaVonne Flohr and Bonita Paup, both of Marquette; one brother Dale Roach of Seal Beach, California; one sister Anita Thesenvitz of Wood River; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
