Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian Church for Ada Mae Cunningham, 86, of Wagoner. The Rev. R. L. Walton and Dr. Charles Freeland officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under direction of Hersman Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Courtney Bennett, V M. Sprangel, Jay Robertson, Lewis Watkins, Robert Cleveland and Robert Crouch, Jr.
Born December 2, 1900 in Louisville, Illinois to Harry and Carrie (Hale) Wheeler, she moved to Oklahoma with her family in 1907 and to Wagoner in 1909. She married Robert Harmon Cunningham January 11, 1925 in Wagoner. He preceded her in death March 4, 1968. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Wagoner.
Survivors include one son; David Cunningham of Shawnee, Kansas; four daughters, Juanita Sly of Wagoner, Pauline Hattenstein of Lake City, Florida, Ruth Cleveland of Claremore and Annette Robertson of Owasso; a brother, Clark Wheeler of Afton; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
