He bore his sickness with great patience never once crying when suffering the greatest agony and pain.
The funeral services were conducted Saturday morning by the Rev. C.E. Fisher with short services at the home and preaching at the Friendship G.B. church near Boonville.
Four of Mr. Taylor's brothers, Arlie, Zephaniah, John and Theodore acted as pass-bearers, twelve small girls and one boy were flower bearers. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Boonville to await the resurrection.
A dear one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled.
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
