Here, she worked for AT&T with her sister Lucille. She married Jerry Nicholson in Dec. 1962 and moved to Pensacola. As a Navy family, they lived in many places during his Navy career, but always returned to the Pensacola/Milton area. Since 1977, she has lived in the Garcon Point area of Santa Rosa County. June has been living with multiple myeloma since 2002, which was diagnosed in Jan. 2003. She faced this disease with great courage and grace. We express our thanks to Dr. German Herrera and the many other health care providers of the Hope Center at Sacred Heart Hospital who have provided such good care in these last few years. They have shown so much care and compassion to her during this journey with multiple myeloma. Also, special thanks to the Covenant Hospice who provided special care and support to June and her family in recent days. How could we have made this journey without these wonderful people? She shall return to her home in Tennessee and rest with her mother and father, brothers and sisters at Liberty Cemetery in Scotts Hill, Tennessee. Reeds Chapel Funeral Home in Scotts Hill is in charge of the final services. Lewis Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
